These fishing nets feature small square netting in ultra light twine sizes. These fishing nets are ideal for smelt and other small forage species and commonly used for smelting in the Great Lakes.

Our sinking style Micro-Mesh Gill Fishing Nets come with the following specifications;

• 100′ Long x 6′ Deep
• Top: 3/8″ Foamcore rope
• Bottom: 30 lb Leadcore rope
• Nets hung on 1/2 basis(200′ stretch netting to a 100′ net)
• Tie intervals less than 12″
• 1/8″ Solid braid nylon breastline on both ends

• 1/4″ Sq. (.10mm)
• 5/16″ Sq. (.10mm)
• 1/2″ Sq. (.15mm)

Custom rigging is available including different sized netting, larger float ropes, heavier lead lines, weights, and a variety of floats.
