Duluth Nets’ Custom Smelt Seines are made using 3/8″ Square Nylon Netting.
***Smelt Straight & Bag Seines in Black will be made using 3/8″ sq. (3/4″ str.) 210d/16 Nylon Netting, Eco Treated Black and contain a 53 lb tensile strength.
Seines are built with the following specifications:
- Top Rope: 5/16″ Braided Polypropylene Rope with SB-4 Foam Floats every 24″
- Bottom Rope: 50lb Leadcore Rope(50lb Weight/600′ Spool)
- Option: Bag (Pocket) are centered in the middle of the seine
- 4′ x 4′ x 4′
- 6′ x 6′ x 6
Seines are available for both MN and WI waters.
- Minnesota regulations allow for seines up to 25′ Long x 4′ Deep
- Wisconsin regulations allows for seines up to 75′ Long x 6′ Deep
